This Is What I Do With My Time

This week all of the first-years had to participate in a case competition at school. Each study group received a case dealing with Dunkin' Donuts, and we were asked to put together a recommendation for the company given the information we were provided. We were to prepare the night before the competition and then present the next morning to a panel of judges.

There were three separate brackets and all of the groups were separated into one of those brackets; a finalist would be selected from each one. Then, the three groups chosen as finalists would present in front of all of the judges and our class. Overall this event was pretty stressful since we have midterms next week, but my group (as you'll see) did what we could to make the best of it!

Doing a little case research. Really we were just trying to find out what Dunkin' Donuts colors were so we could put them in our presentation.

We decided we had to have donuts if we were going to have to work on this case.

Donald and I requested sprinkles.

I don't think we'd know what to do with ourselves if we didn't draw pictures on the whiteboard during our group meetings.

A little animosity surfaced at the end of the night toward the donut.

To all of our surprise, we were selected as one of the finalists to present to everyone. We took second place. Not too bad.
